I Am Sadden At What I See

Long years ago I guess one might say ages ago


I worked at a place I was proud of

I would have fought a battle for it if worst would have came to it.

I worked hard and on my feet

for never thought of myself only the ones I was caring for.

I never saw the floors dirty or dirt in, any corner of it,

but today I am sadden at what I have seen.

I say to myself is this what the world has come to

that the money means more to the big companies

that their clients or matter of fact their employees are just a number,

and if they come to this place they are not treated any better if they

don't have the money it is deducted from their check. No heart,

no feelings, just one word greed and make that God all mighty dollar.

I know what pay for places are for I worked at one,

but I have to say they knew how to do it right

and our floors or rooms were never dirty,

and our clients and family was treated like kings and queens.

Their staff were well educated on how to treat people

starting from how to answer a phone all the way up the ladder,

because we had competition in that area were as here that just doesn't seem to exist

and people seems to let it go rather than drive miles out of their way.

It's a shame when money means more than a human life .

Please think about your action and how they effect the whole community,

because right now things do not look so good,, but I am old fashion

and believe it should not matter who you are or how much money you got

when it comes to your life we should all be the treated equally, but

this world has sure changed some for the good and some I am sadden to say for the worst.

Thankful For Each Day

God thank you for this day


fill with love and joy

even when we are ill and grouchy.

Thank you for the sun rays that brighten our days

and come to others in need.

God thank you for this day

in ways that only you know.

How things are in our hearts

we seek for relief of pain

only to search in vain,

when it is there in our faces

for all to see deep within

the soul will grow with each trail or tribulation we go through.

People sometime change for the good . While some

shake their head in disbelieve were has

this time gone but the light will guide to us to

 the pearls of a heavenly nature and sooth my sprit

even though there maybe some words unsaid I am still

Thankful for the trees,flowers,and nature with it beautiful bounty it offers

birds, deers, all different animals that were put here for us to admire love and adron as part of God's gift to each and everyone of us.

How much more this means when you can slow down your pace to really enjoy

  the ace you had in your hand all along and did not relize it.

Life just moves very slow and time shows you all that is important

is you and me and our Love.

What Makes Me Who I AM

I am a mover ,I am a shaker, an elevator taker.


I can be a hell raiser and a care giver all at the same time,

you see I was raised with the Hensley blood in my veins and I am proud to be one.

I am also a risk taker, who sometimes mess up and does not care to speak my mind

uh ho another Hensley trait I had to be born a little spit fire,

because I got both my beloved grandmothers traits. I am thankful to god for

because they both showed me love as they taught my mother and she has

taught me and I have passed that same heart to my children .

Though as my daughter has told me at times we are to trusting

and some take advantage of us,

at times I wish I was hard hearted,

but then I would not have experience all the good Lord has taught me

the most important thing of all is I love all my family no matter what they do.

I may not approve of some of their ways but guess what we ARE none perfect

and no one knows what a person feels or how they hurt inside until

they have walk their path so always love each other before it is to late, and

the to proud to make the first move takes you to hell and back and

you can NEVER say I am sorry.

One thing I would never do is meet one of my family in public

and act like I was to good to speak

I guess I just told on somebody .

Hope you figure out which one of you it was and the one you did it to

because the very one you did it to might be the one you have to turn to someday
