Misplaced Values

Today I woke up sick at heart
For someone thinks they got smart
How can people lie to your face?
While putting a knife in your back at the same time.
Some one thinks they are holding a ace in their hands,
they stole my prize guitar which I play in the band.

The power they think they have over me
someday they will see.
When it is soon taken from them,
and in front of a judge they stand.
What kind of a life will they have behind jail bars
looking out at all the cars
my heart goes out to them
because the worst is yet to come
someday they must stand in front of God
what a judge they must face
for all they have misplaced.

I Want To Go To Heaven

I want to go heaven.
The doves of God will ascend.
Here love's brightness will light the gate,
no pain nor suffering no more hate.
I want to go to heaven,
just to see Aunt Kate,
but most of all to see Jesus.
I can't wait.
A place of joy and peace.
Oh what a sight it will be,
a place were all is right in the world.
There will be no choice of what race we are,
oh what a place.
I want to go to heaven just to see his face.
