I Close My Eyes And I See

I close my eyes and I see a little cabin.
There is a cool breeze blowing and you and me
sitting on the porch.
The glimmer of a yellow torch glowing into the night.
I close my eyes I see a crystal clear stream flowing with fish swimming all around.
In my imagination I hear the sounds of the little night creatures.
I close my eyes and I can see all the features of home sweet home,
just the two of us on our own all along.
No one to hear you sing a song but me.
How I love to hear your voice and the ring of your guitar.
My dear just imagine one moment in time should we dare to
take a chance rare as may seem.
We would let the beams of the morning sun shine in to brighten our day with its warmth
So just for today I close my eyes and I can see Oh I can see what a beautiful day that would be.

Would You Realize

Sounds Are Made For The Hearing

Sounds are made for the hearing.

The ringing of church bells.

An ambulance siren as it takes a love one to the hospital.

The sound of a gun when rounds of ammunition has been fired,

tires screeching to a halt,

Trouble has come bring hell for someone.
There is no safe bubble to crawl into

shots are fired coming from both directions,

a young one lays dying on the ground.

Oil running out all over the road from the car.

Why do you run so far in the wrong direction?

You never seem to worry about the day or what tomorrow brings.

If for one moment in time

in your drug haze of darkness

would you go back never lacking for nothing?

If  you could change it all

or would you be so small

and give up your life for it all ?Instead of listening
to your head listen to your heart.

You can never go back or will you some day have to look back and wonder why did you care so little for others?

Your lack of feelings  kept you isolated from the ones who care for you
so move ,move on little one towards that bright light

it will cure you and heal your life of pain,

and you will never fill insane or torn again. You will never

have to know from day to day were you will lay your head.
