I do this blog because I Love Music. I grew up with music all different kinds Rock and Roll, Christian in a little Baptist Church, Love Pop, Bluegrass, Country, Classical Rock, Hard Rock, Jazz, AND Blues. We was raised to love music through different aspects of our life. Sometimes it was visiting with my mothers sisters and my Uncle Dallas and cousin Roger, we would have a back yard cookout and they would pull out their guitars and we all would sing.

The Dogwood Tree
I wonder have you ever notice how small the dogwood tree grows?
He made them this way so no other man
I wonder do you ever think this was the tree that Jesus die on?
They are so beautiful with their white blooms.
They grow in rows and rows through out our mountains.
The story behind them is the most important
it should always loom in the back of our minds
on this tree our Lord was crucified and after three days
rose again to free us from sin.
They should never be destroyed for this reason
He is the true reason for this Easter season
Someday he will come back
This is the reason the dogwood grows so small
and never will ever grow tall and strong again. He made them this way so no other man
should die on this precious dogwood tree.

Memories

Life is a series of twists and turns,
as we grow older our memories are burned
into our minds forever of the ones we love.
We hold on to them deep down in our hearts,, and dream about them when we sleep.
They walk ever so gently through the dark recesses of our brain, just to shine a ray of light through the rain
of teardrops and pain .
Hold own dear one your not going insane.
It is the world around us that has gone a little crazy.
Oh what I wouldn't give for just a little bit of peace and just being lazy.
Oh were did all those crazy days of summer go?
When we were children with nothing to do but chase butterflies in the daylight,
and at night catch fireflies in a jug.
When bedtime came mom tugged you in with a hug and a kiss that reassured you everything was all right in your world .
They might be gone but never forgotten
Memories are the backbone that has frame who we are
and the places we hold dear in our hearts.
They can never be sold only to be told
over the years with each one's remembrance just a little different
this happens I guess when we get older.
Something good could be bad for one and something sad could
be a wonderful life changing experience for another.
The years have gently flowed by the young girl she is now the mother.
She has been given the duty to slow down and give the hugs
She tugs her babies in with a story book in hand
and finishes with a hug and I love you.
Now this mother is a grandmother
and life has changed her in it's on fashion.
In our minds and heart we still remain the same.
We will continue on through life as we are
holding to our hearts what is most important to us
Our memories of who we are.
Growing old gracefully and never show blame towards another,
for our shame of thinking we should have done more with our life.
When I look into those beautiful eyes of blue
it is there for me to see
all the wonderful things you could become.
So all the fame I will ever need is knowing I
did my best and pass the test,
