Darkness of the dark of night

Do not roll away so fast

Or think the day light can not shine

Little things that we have done
These are all tokens of our love
It is not the big things in life that count
but it is the little things in life we will remember
of the times we have had with another.

I Love My Country

I love my country I love my freedom

I hate seeing our people murdered sensually

Boston one of our oldest cities bombed for no

Good reason.

The seasons has changed and our people are out

Enjoying life but it seems it is not meant to be

Americans wake up there is a silent war

Going on in our own country

This is enough to shake me to my core

And make me wonder how long is

America going to remain free or

Are we going to be took over

By hate and evilness that is raring it’s ugly head at us

We have sat back and watched on TV other countries going through this

Having the same thing happen to them and now it is here in our country.

The shame of it all our families and friends are not safe

And after a bomb goes off and kills and manes our children and people

Ask yourself this question what could have been done to prevent this from happening?

Should there have been more protection? The streets was filled with security and law officers

And they still got pass them creeping around as a ghost. That most of us

would not think to notice them.  I wonder sometimes are we ever really going to be free again.

Or are we going to have to be searched at ever function our country has that resembles

Anything to do with what our country stands for this is my thought for the day. Boston our hearts

And prays go out to you we know this tragedy will be hard to heal from but your country is behind you

With heart felt prayers and love.

Help Our Elderly and Disabled

Last night as I lay sleeping

I had a dream

A dream that gave me a beep into

The future that is not so bright

The elderly and the disabled

Are paying a price for retiring or being ill

America were is your voice

Are you at some point not going to retire?

Or maybe get injured or become ill

Americans have been known to fight for

What is right, please show me the right in this?

A comprise that sold our elderly and disabled

Out they will not receive any cost of living raises

And oh yes make them pay more on their Medicare

As if they are not paying enough.

Lights need to be shined down on what is right

Voices need to speak up to protest the things

We do not like.

This is America the great and beautiful

People we have the right to do this

This is what our country was found on

One word comes to mind freedom of speech

If we do not like what our elected people are doing

Speak out write letters make phone calls

Because the day is going to come

When we have no say

Because we have got lazy and in some ways do not care

About the things that have made our country great.

Our elderly worked  to keep this country free for all of us

Now what are we doing for them? We are

taking away their living and just as same as saying

You do not need to live anymore

America I know everyone has an elderly parent or family

Member some do without medicines because they

Have to choose either buy medicines or go without

food.

Why should they pay just to balance a budget?

That they did not make?
